A composition - A New Beginning

'A new beginning' was my very first composition, composed in 2002 when I was a lot more idealistic. ( I am idealistic even now though :-). Its a very simple piece. Something like this would be hard for me to compose now; to recapture that sense of simplicity has gotten harder, now that I have learnt a little more about music in the years since. I think there exists an optimum balance between knowledge and naivete that is most conducive to creating something new. Finding that balance and staying there is the problem! I am still naive when it comes to conventional music theory, so all hope is not lost:-). Do give it a listen.
