Music from the 60s and 70s, and the makings of a composition

The Sound of Music is probably the first English movie I watched, and it remains one of my favourite movies. Each song in the movie is beautifully written with the lyrics and the music working together to create pure magic. 'Do-Re-Mi' and 'My favourite things' are just two of the many lovely songs in the movie, and they are the ones I've picked to play here. I also chose two other pieces- 'Masila Unmai Kathale' from the Tamil adaptation of  'Alibaba and 40 thieves', and 'Kaheen door jab' from the movie 'Anand'. I've kind of created a medley out of them. I have had no formal training in music, and as a result, haven't been used to writing down music notation, having instead relied on my finger memory to recall pieces I've composed years before. However, its now clear that its not going to work anymore. So I've decided to just record videos, and store them as future reference:-) I will occasionally put up some of them here for fun. I'm not sure if others will enjoy listening to them for they are very raw and incomplete (To me, they are interesting since they remind of the seeds of a new composition). I have been wanting to create full fledged muli-track recordings of these for atleast a couple of years now, but have never got to doing it , for I find the tones from my new synthesizer uninspiring. So I've decided to record these raw versions meanwhile. So, with all disclaimers out of the way, if you are still feeling brave, you can listen to a raw version of a composition I am working on here :-)
