A not-so Random thought

On return to India, I shall devote my energies to writing a book - "The Art of surviving in Japan - A handbook for the vegetarian". I am not picky about food ( as long as it is vegetarian and not too bad), but my stay here has really tested my patience in the food department ..:-)

Having spent the first week living mostly on salad, fruits and bread( and needless to say, having developed a great deal of respect for Indian cooking :-) I've learnt some handy survival tips ( which included learning a lil Japanese ) in the second week. I discovered a new found fondness for pancakes.. (Ah I shouldn't reveal all the secrets and save some for the book too :P ) My back-ups i.e. ' MTR Ready-to-eats' provide some respite, but I use them frugally to save some till my departure ..:-) It's good to plan and balance one's frustration levels. ;)

Food frustrations aside, I found many things wonderful about Japan ! Details in another post later ..

I didn't find anything particularly different about the baths here. Anyhow, there are more interesting things to write about :-)

Anonymous, I think many people do plan that unconsciously :-)
