A moment to cherish
On the new year eve, we had a get together at the apartments where I stay. They asked me to play something on the keyboard and i got started. When i was abt midway through, six year Arvind rushed towards me, peered at my keyboard for a moment. He then pressed the last note on the keyboard, and asked me 'Uncle, what is this ?' . I was not prepared for this. Anyone who plays an instrument would agree that it's hard to talk while playing an instrument.(unless you talk in beat, meaning you sing:) Actually talking while you play is kinda harder for those who play wind instruments:) So i quickly blurted out 'two minutes' ! He seemed to understand; he ran away. Sure enough, he was back in a minute (children count faster than adults:) This time he said with full enthu ' Uncle, see my new cap !'. I smiled, quickly finished playing, and rushed off to examine his new cap. Man, such enthusism and a sense of wonder! Wonder why it decays exponentially with time for most of us !!!

Education? Aren't we all taught to live like 'adults'?
Well, the pathollogy for not having commented on this one remains the same, the DARNED instructions in German!!!!! I don't know why Blogger assumes I know German just because I access this website from Bochum! :D
This one's nice Karthik and I think so too! We insist too much on behaving like an adult when no one really has an idea HOW adults are supposed to behave really!
