I seem to be demonstrating remarkable originality in my choice of post-titles. Oscillating in a random fashion between 'A random thought', and 'Random thoughts' adds a touch of unpredictability that I'm sure, my readers find most fascinating ;)
I loved Sachin's farewell speech though I don't follow cricket actively anymore.
I watched 'Skyfall' on TV recently. Very different from the rest of the Bond movies. Bond is accidentally shot at by his own colleague. Disappears for a while to resurface when the agency finds itself exposed to a series of attacks, with 'M' being the primary target. Bond's gotten older. Not at the peak of his physical or mental health anymore. The only 'gadget' he has is a radio. Chooses an abandoned mansion as the battleground to protect M. And what weapon of choice does he finally eliminate his adversary with? - A knife. 'Old fashioned' - that's the operative word throughout this movie. The leitmotif, if you will. I like that. I suddenly feel old-fashioned myself.
