I've probably changed more in 2012 than in many preceding years put together ... I find that I'm now much more likely to put manipulative people in their place, am impatient with the pretentious, appreciate simplicity a lot more, the idealist has almost disappeared, have finally cracked a long-standing ptoblem, and I feel a strange new confidence, that I can't quite put down in words.. About time.

Good for you karthik :). Happy about everything except the part about your idealism disappearing! I hope the idealist never disappears and continues to linger in some form..
