Tring Tring !

I stumbled upon a simple, yet powerful insight in yet another of those not-so well-known, yet ( maybe hence ?:-) insightful books. It seems obvious once we think about it, but I wanted to share it nevertheless - "When something you want involves taking a risk, don't ask, "What if it doesn't work?" Instead, ask "How will I feel if I don't even try?"

When seen in the light of the above statement, most of the bolder decisions I've taken seem perfectly justified...While I am a huge believer in the 'Live your life now' mantra, I am not indifferent to the lure of procrastination :-) There has been something I've put away for years, with 'sometime' or 'later', but now I know that 'later' has arrived..

There are many Rip Van Winkles in each of us, each corresponding to a different facet of our lives. Some of these are fast asleep, some on the verge of going back to sleep, and some others who've just woken up to the sound of a seemingly insignificant trigger. One such Rip Van Winkle has just woken up in me :-) Time for him to get to work !
