Patience please !
There is an alarming trend that I've lately been observing on the streets. Many motorists crank up their speeds to cut off a pedestrian who is desperately trying to cross the street, even when it is an elderly couple who are clearly nervous . I find this extremely annoying. What big deal are these motorists going to do with the five seconds that they've saved in the process? Let's all please try and take a few extra moments to do things a little more right, and with a little more sensitivity.

Another annoying trend : 2 wheelers riding on sidewalks !!
True Madhu ! That is another annoying trend !
Annoying indeed! Such apathy towards pedestrians and people is saddening...
That's not just annoying, its quite scary! Though of late, I have been faced with the opposite annoyance while driving- Pedestrians (especially teens/kids) who text and saunter across busy streets regardless of what the traffic lights are, knowing that cars "should" stop for them. The number of times they nearly cause accidents is ridiculous. what is so important to text that it can't wait until they get to the other side?
Neeraja - Yes, it is very saddening !
SecondSight - Such pedestrians are also equally annoying ! It would be convenient if the kind of motorists I describe, and the kind of pedestrians you describe bump into each other !
