If the code doesn't run, maybe I should!
Inspired by this post, I've set myself the goal of becoming a decent runner. I don't have a sedentary lifestyle, but long distance running is something I've long been planning to do. I'm glad I finally got started !
My immediate goal is to be able to jog two kilometres comfortably on a daily basis. I could probably do this right now since I am reasonably fit, but I 've decided to pace myself, and plan to get there in six weeks. My final aim is to run a 10 Km marathon, and do it in decent time! It's going to take a while, given that its only been a week ( yay ! its been a week ! :-) since I got started.
The reason I'm writing all this is simple. It's well known that if you share your goals with others, you will be more motivated to work towards achieving them, since you don't want to let others down after making grand claims :-)

All the best. It is a really good feeling when you can run continuously for 30 mins without stopping for the first time. it is exhilarating and invigorating. And like the blog says ENJOY. :)
:) "stamina" is the right word!.. hehe..i am into research so.. we use the word "capacity" for almost anything ;)
