A composition - Breaking Free

I just realized that its been almost five years since I recorded this piece ! Composed and recorded on the humble Yamaha PSR-540, I consider this my second best composition. The time signature is 5/8, which means each measure is divided into five parts. I want to re-record this instrumental piece sometime with stronger strings and percussion ! Sadly, my new keyboard sucks when it comes to strings. The violins make me cry for all the wrong reasons. Time to shift to soft-synths, with sound libraries ! Do give it a listen, and share your opinion!

Note :- The link takes you to another website, where the audio plays. You might want to open the link in a new tab. Sorry ! Have to still figure out how to embed audio directly in the blog post!:-)

beautiful!!

my only comment is that it unfortunately has acquired a tinny sound though, in the recording :( i guess thats the violins only

also, minor point, it says 'click here to send ringtone to phone' but that link doesnt work! am sure if you made it work you d hear breaking free quite as often as the default airtel ringtone (and what an improvement that d be)

Thanks !

Yes you're right ! It does sound a bit metallic. Thats why I want to re-record it. I think the ring-tone feature is probably only in the US:-)
