music, math,nature, dance.....

At the beginning of his book 'Discover your genius', Michael Gelb writes

The Talmud says "In the world to come, each of us will be called to account for all the good things God put on earth that we refused to enjoy."

One of my major goals in life is to appreciate (and learn to appreciate ) as many things (and people too ! )as possible. These include music, literature, dance, science and technology, mathematics, marriage, humour, sketching/painting, nature and many more.... The aim essentially is to become more and more discerning.

Truly lucky we are, to have been born in an age where we have easy access to work done by several brilliant people, and learn to appreciate the beauty in each of these . Of these, I think I devote least amount of time to exploring nature's wonders - something I intend to correct.

In this sense, I want to keep my life as balanced as possible. I remember reading that , looking back, most people's regrets are centered around what what they didn't do, rather than what they did. So, when are you scheduling that bungee-jumping session that you've been postponing all this while ? :)
